A Clinical Study of r-Oryzanol in the Field of Internal Medicine

Abstract
|
|
|
A clinical study of r-Oryzanol, extracted material from rice germ oil and rice bran oil, was -made on 10 patients who was suffered from instability of the autonomic nervous system without demonstrable organic lesions such as headache, restlessness, palpitation, insomnia, easy fatigability etc. during July 1968 to August 1968 for 1 month duration among .the admitted cases in department of Internal Medicine of Seoul National University Hospital.
The results of the study were as follows:
1) Among 10 cases, 3 cases were remarkable effective, 4 effective, a fairly effective and a case was Ineffective.
2) No significant side effects of the drug were demonstrable during observations.
